Love means not having to say you're sorry...NO WAY
I liked the movie. At the time, being 35 years younger & just married, it was a chick flick but made you think about death & its ramifications.
But the tagline, Love means... is so bad. In marriage or out, Love probably has
a 1000 definitions. As a follower of Christ, I find the scriptures remind us boldly that if we do not forgive those who sin against us, how can we find the peace of mind for ourselves in our daily living?
Mt 6:14-15 follows the Lord's Prayer (forgive us our debts AS (to the same degree or in the same manner or heart) that we forgive others. It reminds us
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Sounds harsh but God is saying that if we are hard hearted, how can we expect others to forgive us? Actually we are putting our hands in our pockets & saying I am not going to let other people, or the Almighty, bless me.
So I liked the movie but give it thumbs down on its theology.
